| 摘 要： | 通过理论分析、实验班教学以及问卷调垒等形式，探讨以主题为中心的教材在大学英语教学中体现的理论、操作及效果上的优越性。以主题为中山的教材由于提供足够的语言输入、合适的交际语境、符合学习情感需求的信息量而刺激学习的语言学习，促进语习得。因此，这种教材在大学英语课堂教学中发挥着重要的作用。

| Abstract: | The paper aims chiefly at discussing the superiority of the topic-centered textbooks in college English classroom teaching by means of questionnaire for students, experimental class teaching and theoretical analysis. Meanwhile, the author comes up with his own point of view concerning the relationship between textbooks and teaching approaches and decides the topic-centered textbook plays an extremely important role in classroom teaching practice from various kinds of prospects. |
