| Abstract: | This article synthesized research which Chinese and foreign experts and scholars have studied on the functions of library,combining with the practical impact of library in the society summed up the main functions of library. That is protection reader freedom and the public welfare of using knowledge and information. And the author thought that the public welfare of using knowledge and information is the most important function of library. |
