隐喻文化认知及其对口语教学的启示

摘    要:隐喻既是一种语言现象,又是一种文化现象,更是一种人类的认知现象。不同文化的隐喻差异给口语交际造成理解障碍,而对隐喻的理解在很大程度上取决于对目标语文化的理解与把握。对高职英语教学来说,为解决这个问题,教师要加强对文化教学的重视程度。在口语教学中,先从表层文化差异入手,过渡到中层文化差异再延伸到深层文化差异。教师要注重课堂教学中的策略研究并充分调动和发挥学生的积极性。

Abstract:Language and culture can't be separated.Metaphor is a kind of phenomenon of language culture as well as human being's cognitive phenomenon.The cultural difference in metaphor can easily cause obstacles in oral communication.And the comprehension of metaphor relies on the understanding and mastery of that culture to a certain degree.This paper,from the perspective of cognitive linguistics,discusses the cultural difference of metaphor and its influence to oral English teaching.
