论大学英语教学中的西方文化导入

在英语教学中培养学生的跨文化交际能力要求外语教师必须寓文化教学于语言教学之中。因此,西方文化的导入成为英语教学的一个重要组成部分。这就要求英语教师在传授英语语法规则和句型操练的同时,还要重视对语言的文化背景的教学,并采取相应对策培养学生对西方文化的理解能力。

On the culture issue involved in CET

The emphasis of CET turns to the use of language from the original language pattern with the full development in Pragmatics,Semantics and sociolinguistics,and the popularity of communicative approach.To foster students' cross-cultural communicative competence,the culture teaching should be involved in CET.Therefore,the culture introduction turns to be an important part of CET,which demands the English teachers emphasize on the west culture and the background behind English.Meanwhile the English teachers should adopt the suitable approaches to foster the social culture ability of the students.
