浅析索绪尔的语言符号观及其对英语教学的启示

摘    要:索绪尔指出语言符号具有任意性的特征。正是语言的任意性使我们的语言如此丰富多彩,也增加了语言学习的难度。本文在讨论索绪尔关于语言任意性的基础上,进一步分析其与英语教学的关系。

Abstract:Saussure indicates that language is arbitrary.It is arbitrariness that makes our language full of variety and increases difficulties in language learning.This article firstly discusses the theory of arbitrariness by Saussure and then indicates its relation to English teaching.
