词汇衔接意义上的衔接性重复可以从两个方面来看，单纯重复与非单纯重复，以及共指性重复与非共指性重复。结构衔接意义上的衔接性重复主要在于它的修辞和非修辞用法的区分，因为多数结构性重复都带有修辞目的。在汉语常常使用重复作为衔接手段的情况下，英语往往采用变换的方式来实现一定的衔接意义。

The English Realizations of Chinese Cohesive Repetition in Terms of Lexical Cohesion and Structural Cohesion

Cohesive Repetition can be viewed from two perspectives: Lexical cohesive repetition and structural cohesive repetition.The former involves the issue of whether it is pure repetition or non-pure repetition;or whether the two con-cerned lexical items are co-referential or non-co-referential.The latter mainly concerns the rhetorical or non-rhetorical purposes of certain structures.While Chinese prefers to use repetition as the commonest device for cohesion,English fa-vors the means of revision in most cases.
