Consumed(消耗)by my loss,I didn’t notice the hardnessof the pew(靠背长凳)where I sat.I was at the funeral of my dearest friend,my mother.She finally had lost herlong battle with cancer.The hurt was so hard,I found itto breathe at times. Always supportive,Mother clapped loudest at my schoolplays,held a box of tissues(薄纸)while listening to my firstheartbreak,comforted me at my father’s death,encouraged mein college,and prayed for me my entire life.
