| Abstract: | This paper attempts to show the identity of cultural connotation on "left" and "right" in Chinese and English by the study of etymology and cultural connotation of the two words.Also,it can be argued that this identical phenomenon results from the identity of human's original mode of thinking and structure of cultural psychology. |
