英语语调的认知接口研究

摘    要:本文综述了国内外对中国英语学习者英语语调的研究,发现确实存在调群切分不当、调核位置混乱、调型使用不当等汉式英语的语调特征,然后从英语语调的加工和提取这两个角度分析了问题产生的原因。结论认为,中国英语学习者的英语语调输入在工作记忆中的加工不足,未能在“注意”的认知接口中得到处理,因而难以在隐性加工的计算系统中得到强化,导致英语的内隐语调知识不如母语的强大,所以英语产出时的语调加工仍是母语路径。

Abstract:This study analyzes researches of Chinese English learners English intonation,finding that Chinese learners do have a lot of problems in tonality,tonicity and tone patterns,which could lead to communication breakdown.Then this study analyzes the reasons for this phenomenon from the perspective of Cognitive Psychology concerning explicit and implicit processing of English input,and cognitive processing of English output. The conclusion is that Chinese learners do not have enough processingof English intonation in working memory; English intonation input does not get processing in cognitive interface,so that it is very difficult to get tuned and integrated into the knowledge system by implicit learning in the subsequent input processing.This results in Chinese English learners not having enough implicit knowledge of English intonation; while making English output,students still use implicit knowledge of Chinese intonation.
