| 摘 要： | 母语在外语课堂和教学中的作用一直是研究人员和外语教师争论的焦点.通过对不同英语水平学生的问卷调查表明,学生普遍认为母语有助于自己更好地理解课堂上所发生的一切.调查结果也表明母语在外语课堂中的角色随着学习者外语水平的变化而呈现出一定的差异,教师应该根据学生的学习阶段和学习目的来适当地调整母语使用策略.

| Abstract: | The role of L1 （mother tongue） in FL classroom and teaching remains a point of contention among many researchers and teachers. The results of the questionnaire survey to students of different English level show that students generally think Llwill facilitate their comprehension of what is happening in class. Moreover, the results show that the role of L1 in FL classroom varies at different level of L2 proficiency. Accordingly teachers should adopt appropriate strategies aeeording to students＇ different learning stages and purposes. |
