大学英语翻译教学存在的问题及改善对策

摘    要:全国大学英语四级考试,自1987年9月开考至今,已走过近30个年头。期间,翻译题型经过了三次变化。目前,翻译分值比例在四级考试中占15%。从比例的提高可以看出翻译在未来英语学习中的重要性。但大学英语翻译教学很难开展,效果也不理想。本文从教育体系、教师和学生三方面阐述了其中的原因,并提出了相应的对策。

The Problems in the College English Translation Teaching and its Countermeasures

Abstract:CET-4 came in to being in September,1987 and almost 30 years have passed since then.During this period,the form of translation item has changed three times.At present,the proportion of translation accounts for 15 percent in CET-4.From the increase of its proportion,the importance of translation in future English learning is apparent.However,it is difficult to develop the English translation teaching and the teaching effect is not satisfactory,either.This paper sets forth its reasons from three aspects of education system,teachers and students,and then puts forward the countermeasures.
