| Abstract: | This paper first analyzes the status quo and its long standing issue in the current college English teaching patterns.It points out,linked to J.S.Bruner’s Discovery Teaching theory,that the current ideal teaching pattern should be committed itself to how to foster and enhance the capability of learners’ self-directed intellectual enquiry and their innovation-oriented capacity. |
