试析毛泽东晚年民主思想的失误

毛泽东晚年民主思想出现了明显的失误 ,具体表现为用“无产阶级专政下继续革命”代替人民民主专政 ,用“大民主”代替人民民主。失误形成的主要原因是他个人崇拜与为民作主思想的推动 ,导致了民主与法制的分离。毛泽东晚年民主思想的失误 ,也是他发动“文化大革命”的原因之一。

An Analysis of the Erroneous Area of Mao Zedong's Thought on Democracy in His Later Years

Mao Zedong's thought on democracy in his later years displayed obvious mistatkes on account of the objective environment and himself. They were shown specifically in such aspects as the replacement of people's democratic dictatorship with "continuing the revolution under the dictatorship of the proletariat" and people's democracy practised in the form of great democracy. The making of the mistakes was mainly due to the motivation of personality cult and the idea of deciding for the people, which resulted in the separation between democracy and the legal system. Mao Zedong's error in his thought on democracy was one of the reasons for his starting of the Great Cultural Revolution.
