| 摘 要： | 重庆酉阳虽然是一个苗、土家族聚居的荒僻之地，但仍被贞节思想影响。龚氏是此地节妇之一，龚氏牌坊亦是此地节妇的旌表之一。从此坊的建造中足见当地所受贞节思想之深远影响。

| Abstract: | Although Houxi of Youyang County is mainly resided by nationalities of Miao and Tujia, it has been under the influences of idea of chastity preservation. Madam Gong was regarded one of the duteous women in the area, and a memorial archway was built in honor of her, from which we can see the influences of chastity on the local people. |
