文化差异对汉英写作句法的影响

写作是英语学习的高级阶段,不仅需要掌握一定的英语语言知识和运用这些知识的技巧,还需要了解汉英文化的差异,这种差异导致了东方人与西方人思维方式的不同。而作为思维的载体———语言,必然在表达时体现出双方文化的特征。通过英汉两种语言在句子语义结构和内含的差异对比,寻找到用英语写作时,与汉语写作迥然不同的文化信息差别及思维规律,以更好地提高英语的写作水平。

A Tentative Study of the Syntactic Differences between English Writing and Chinese Writing

Writing,as an advanced stage of English study,not only requires one's knowledge of the language,the skills in using it,but also the differences between the Occidental and Oriental culture.Such differences lead to the separation between Chinese and Western people's thought patterns,hence the different ways of using language.In respect of this,this paper attempts to make a contrastive study between English writing and Chinese writing.
