古代西域文学论纲

古代西域各族人民在化上对祖国的贡献很大，特别是在佛教的传入和音乐的贡献上。西域学由三部分构成，即各族人民用自己母语创作的作品，或他们到中原以后用汉语创作的作品，以及内地的政治家、军事家、诗人到西域后创作的描绘边疆各族人民生活以及山川风貌的作品。今后我们应加强对此的研究，这有利于雏护国家的统一和民族的团结。

On the Essentials of the Ancient Western Regions Literature

The people of ancient Western Regions had made a great contribution to Chinese civilization,especially the spreading of Buddhism and dedication to music.The Western Regions literature is formed of three parts:the works that each nation produced by their mother tongue,the works they created by Chinese after they came into Central Plains,the works depicted the life of each nation on the borderland and the scene of mountains and rivers that were produced by those statesmen,military scientists and poets when they came to the Western Regions.From now on,we should strengthen the study of this field,which will benefit to the unity of our country and nations.
