隗嚣的思想及其在陇右文化史上的地位

新莽末东汉初年,隗嚣割据陇右,三辅士人云集其帐下,因而陇右短暂地成为当时的文化中心。但因隗嚣和士人主流在王统天命观上存在严重歧异,导致士人相继东归光武。从不愿起兵到有志图王、欲效西伯,隗嚣的思想有一个发展和转变过程。他相信有德者居天下之位,是对刘汉正统天命观的一种反驳。隗嚣自身也有良好的文化修养,因此,他在陇右文化史上具有较高地位。

Wei Aos' Thought and His Position in the History of Culture in the Area of LongYou

Wei Ao had set up a separatist regime by force of arms in the area of Long You from the end of Xin Dynasty of Wang Mang to first years of the Eastern Han Dynasty.He had gathered many scholars and general men in the office of his commander form SanFu.Thus,the area of LongYou had become a cultural centre of the whole nation in a short period.But Wei Ao and the main current of scholar men had grave difference in king command and destiny concept of the nation.Thus scholar men returned to Guang Wu emperor consecutively from west to east. Wei Aos' thought had a process of developing and changing from avoiding battle to having aspiration to pursue a king position and going to imitate Xi Bo.He believed a person with integrity to act as an emperor was confusion for the legitimism destiny concept of the nation for Liu Han Dynasty.Wei Ao also had fine culture accomplishment.Therefore,he had higher position on history of culture in the area of LongYou.
