摘    要:清末民初,刘师培与蔡元培围绕革命与建设深刻批判了封建畸形人格.前者主张积极入世而不媚世,讲求自强不息和尚武精神,崇尚公德,献身国家.后者则强调理论上重视道德,界定近代人格内涵,人人具有独立精神,在遵循公德与私德、义务与权利统一前提下尚公德、重义务.他们希望藉教育、修身、政党和践履等方法达到塑造中国近代理想人格,促进社会进步之目的.

Abstract:Liu Shipei and Cai Yuanpei animadverted on the feudal twisted personality centering the revolution and construction during the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Mr. Liu maintained people's active participation in the society but no fawning on others without principles, and advocated the spirit of constant strive and the spirit of warrior, and called for social morality and dedication to the nation. Mr. Cai emphasized morality theoretically, defining the modern personality. It involved independence, social morality and obligation under the premise of following the unification of social and private morality, obligation and right. They both hoped to reach the goal of modeling the modern ideal personality of China and promoting the advancement of the society by ways of education, morality cultivation, the construction of parties and practice.
