| Abstract: | Formerly the study of the combination of " very + noun (s)" is mostly analyzed by its meaning, and there hasn 't been a definite criterion all the time. This paper tries to explain this combination, starting with Mr. Xu Tongqiang 's theory of "sticking to the standard" . |
