| 摘 要： | 以孔子和亚里士多德为代表的中西古代诗歌理论的创产，都十分强调诗歌的功用和价值，他们不是就诗论诗，而是把诗放在较为广阔的社会背景下，放在它与政治、道德伦理等的相互关系中进行考察，得出了许多对后世具有深远影响的结论。中西古代诗教有同有异，总体来说，同大于异；各有优劣，相对来说，优多于劣。
