编辑学及其分类的探讨

随着编辑学的建立和发展,进行编辑学分类是必不可少的。编辑学是以编辑为特定的对象,以研究编辑的产生、发展及其规律为方向的新兴学科。它既是理论性学科,又是实践性很强的应用性学科。编辑史、编辑理论和编辑工程是编辑学体系的三个重要组成部分,也是编辑学的基本框架结构。编辑学又是介于社会科学和自然科学之间的边缘性学科,它既不单纯地从属于社会科学,也不单纯地从属于自然科学。但是,作为编辑的工作对象和任务,以及编辑学的研究对象和任务均密切地包含着这两个方面,缺一不可。基于这一性质,编辑学应分为社会科学编辑学和自然科学编辑学两大主干;然后,根据编辑工作的对象及信息载体形式再分别分为:书、报、期刊及声像编辑学。编辑学分类是完善编辑学的一个重要方面。建立正确的分类方法,对促进其分支学科和相应学会的建立起重要作用。

Editology and its classification

It ts absolutely necessary to classify editology along with its development. Editology, which is not purely subordinate to the social sciences or natural sciences, is considered as a frontier science. As its subjects of study cover both social and natural sciences, editology should be divided into two branches: editology of social sciences and editology of natural sciences.The two branches can be subdivided according to the editorial material and the forms of informational carrier into categories of books, newspapers, magazines and audiovisual publications.The correct classification is essential to the establishment of branch sciences and institutions of editology.
