| 摘 要： | 辅助方程理论即求解三次方程时需预解一个二次的辅助方程,解四次方程时需预解一个三次的辅助方程,是Lagrange对于代数方程求解的贡献之一。该理论直接导致了La-grange置换思想的产生,为用置换思想进行代数方程求解奠定了基础。由此以后一大批代数学家致力于方程求解,并最终使代数方程求解得以完美终结,甚至导致了代数学的新生。剖析了Lagrange的辅助方程理论出现的原因,并阐述了该理论的影响。

| Abstract: | Auxiliary equation theory is one of Lagrange's contributions on the solution of algebraic equation,which means we should solve the quadratic auxiliary equation in order to solve the cubic equation;we should solve the cubic auxiliary equation in order to solve the quartic equation.This theory pushes the emergence of Lagrange's permutation theory and also provides a foundation to his solution of algebraic equations by applying permutation theory.After the auxiliary equation theory,many algebraists are engaged... |
