| Abstract: | It is a common phenomenon that there is a mathematics achievement decline among the first-year students in the senior middle schools. Based on a statistics analysis, the present paper discusses the causes leading to this phenomenon, and then gives some solutions in terms of teaching methodology and learning strategies. |
