| 摘 要： | 该文借鉴把关理论来研究国际新闻翻译过程,其假设如下:1.译者是国际新闻翻译过程中的把关者;2.国际新闻翻译过程可以分阶段来进行;3.国际新闻翻译过程有模式可循。为验证以上假设,作者采用概念分析和实证研究两种方法,重点揭示新闻翻译和译者在国际新闻传播中的重要性及地位。

| Abstract: | The present paper aims at probing into the process of translating global news from the gatekeeping perspective. The hypothesis is as follows： 1 ） The translator acts as the gatekeeper in global news translation. 2） Global news translation process can be staged. 3） A comprehensive model can be proposed. Two research methodologies, a conceptual analysis and an empirical study, are adopted to verify the hypothesis, highlighting the importance of news translation and translator in the overall global news communication. |
