我国小学英语浸入式教学实验综述

摘    要:中国小学阶段的英语早期半浸入式教学实验是在中国、加拿大、美国三国协作课题组(CCUEI)通力合作下完成的.浸入式课程的开发经历了两个阶段:早期半浸入式学科课程模式;早期部分时间浸入式综合课程模式.在实验中所建构的浸入式教学原则是:融合性、习得性、听说领先、不用母语做中介、活动性、"高浓度".对语音意识、认知能力、英汉两种语言能力、浸入式及母语授课的学科学习进行的测试和评价结果发现,浸入式实验班儿童的成绩显著高于控制班.这个历时6年的实验已取得了令人可喜的成绩,但也面临着师资和课程方面的挑战.

Abstract:English immersion experiments in Chinese elementary schools started in 1998. It went through two phases: early half immersion subject curriculum model; early partial immersion integrative curriculum model. The teaching principles developed as: confluent; natural learning; listening and speaking first; without using mother tongue as a bridge; participation; "high consistence . The tests in sound consciousness, cognitive ability, English and Chinese language abilities, academic achievement of immersion and non - immersion subjects, have showed significant difference between experiment and control classes. This English immersion program has acquired delectable effects and achievements, but it also faces the challenge of teachers' preparation and curriculum development.
