知识在社会进步中具有基础性作用。知识是文化的载体,不仅要学习知识,而且还要由此而了解其所蕴涵的思维、方法与精神。要处理好学、思、行三者的关系,学习是基础,思考是关键,实践是根本。在教育中,由于受教育者的年龄、经历不同,教育的层次、类型不同,必须正确处理做人与做事、情感与智力、人性与灵性的关系,对初等教育、中等教育与高等教育,应针对受教育者不同的特点而提出不同的要求。

To pay more attention to knowledge and build a solid foundation

Knowledge is basic function in the course of social development. Knowledge is a carrier of the culture and it means not only to require studying knowledge but also understanding the thinking, method and spirit contained by it. Meanwhile the relation between studying, thinking, acting should be handled well, which studying is as foundation, thinking as key, acting as root. In the education, because the educatee's age, experience, educational level, educational type, the level , type of education are different, we must deal with the relation of conducting oneself and doing things, emotion and intelligence, human nature and spiritualism correctly and should to got different demands according to the educatee's different characteristics for elementary education, secondary education and higher education.
