The Problems and Thoughts of the Music Major Courses Setting from the Post Figurative Culture Perspective

The Post Figurative Culture is a concept to interpret the generation gap proposed by the American anthropologist Margaret Mead from the cultural metaphor perspective, which is a cultural model where the predecessors have to learn from their descendants who master the new knowledge. From the perspectives of cultural metaphor and gap relationship between generations, the paper probes the conflicts between the instructing and learning as well as the generation gap between teachers and students, the influence brought by the above two and the necessity to reform the setting of music major courses in normal colleges.
