| Abstract: | In the novel of Sleep,Flo, Sleep, Zhang Ling made up a protaganit Plo, a distinctive image of female immigrant in the early North America. It is meant to have reconstructed the modern history of Chinese immigrants to the North America, revealed the shilded discourse power of the early female overseas Chinese, and provided a historic contemplationof the living situation of the new immigrants of“marginal man”. |
