| 摘 要： | 《夜色温柔》是美国"迷惘的一代"的代表作家菲茨杰拉德的长篇小说,它之所以在出版伊始遭到冷遇,是因为其中象征手法的运用使得作品不是那么浅显直白地被读者理解接受.小说运用诸多象征,如人名象征、事物象征、动作象征和场景象征等,揭示人物及作者隐秘的情感,赋予小说语言巨大的艺术力量,使作品超越题材本身的意义而指向辽远深邃的精神意蕴.

| Abstract: | Is a novel written by Fitzgerald,a representative of the lost generation of the U.S. it received little attention when first published because the symbolical methods he applied made it difficult to be understood by the readers.Many symbols,such as those of names,things,behaviours and scenes,are used in the novel to reveal the secret emotions of the characters and the writer himself,providing the language of the novel with great artistic strength,making it surpassing the meaning of the topic and have a deep and far-reaching spiritual significance. |
