| Abstract: | This article mainly focuses on the four problems in College English(extensive reading course) Teaching; lack of emphasis, insufficient amount of reading,inapproriate after-class reading materials and students' shortage of vocabulary for extensive reading. The guiding principles of improving extensive reading course teaching methods have thus been clarified and some suggestions have been put forward. |
