Capability-oriented Administration --A Mixed Blessing of Modern Library Administration

Capability-oriented administration, as a new mode of the kind, grows out of the traditional people-oriented administration and attracts the attention of libraries at home. It is, however, a mixed blessing, with unavoidable limitations or restrictions. This paper provides a detailed analysis of the positive and negative effects of the new mode of administration for the libraries that are going to put the new mode into practice. 4 refs.
