| Abstract: | Compensating Crime with Rank, the typical example of the feudal privilege, has been influencing the construction of modem legal system in China. This paper analyzes such problems as the evolution of the Compensating Crime with Rank system, the cause of its formation, the social and historical conditions and the negative impact on modem legal system, and also puts forwardsome countermeasures. |
