翻译是人类语言交流的重要组成部分,也是使用不同语言的民族、国家之间相互交流和相互学习不可缺少的手段。由于不同民族有着不同的历史背景、文化习俗和政治经济制度,因而造就了迥异的思维方式和语言逻辑。英语在句式和用词习惯上与汉语有很大区别,所以英汉互译时必须考虑两者的差异。

Translation Practice Based on the Characteristic Differences between English and Chinese

Translation is not merely the bridge over the different languages,but also the necessary means for communication among different countries.The culture communication is mainly based on words.So translation becomes a necessity.Different histories,coupled with different economy and politics systems caused different ways of thinking as well as language logics.English sentence structures and order distinguish greatly from Chinese.Therefore,we must take the differences into consideration while translating.This essay directs at translation practice based on the characteristic differences between English and Chinese.
