| Abstract: | This dissertation attempts definitions for the functions of the government and points out that a prerequisite for China's admittance into the WTO (World Trade Organization) is the conceptual transformation in accordance to the requirements of WTO. The author also elaborates on the concrete measures designed to transform the conceptions with regard to government functions and to adapt the government to the WTO rules and international conventions within the least possible time. |
