| Abstract: | The paper elaborates on sentences in Henan dialect consisting of the adverb "Dou"."Dou" is often spoken in a light tone emphasizing the meaning of "already" and such sentences often end up with the word "le".These sentences with "Dou" bear a strong tinge of subjectivity,and abound in expressiveness and a high degree of colloquialism. |
