摘    要:明代路桥修造从制度层面来看是各级政府的职责,但实际上上自帝王,下至百姓都可以组织和参与路桥修造工作,修造经费也主要来源于社会的各个方面。总体上看,明代路桥修追具广泛的社会参与性。当社会稳定,经济繁荣时,广泛的社会参与使明代的交通事业蓬勃发展,但也造成了道路桥梁所有权的模糊性,使得一些道路桥梁成为牟利的工具。

Abstract:The construction of roads and bridges in the Ming dynasty were responsibilities of governments at all levels from the perspective of system. But actually every one, from emperor to the common people, could organize and participate in the construction. And the funds came from all quarters of the society. On the whole, the construction of roads and bridges in the Ming Dynasty is characterized by wide range of social participation which made transportation industry develop rapidly in the case of social stability and economic prosperity. But on the other hand, it caused ambiguity of property right of the roads and bridges, thus some roads and bridges became the profit-making tool.
