| Abstract: | The paper reviews all the achievement and progress gained in collection development field in the recent 10 years since National Science and Technology Library （NSTL） was founded. It summarizes the theory and practice of collection development guideline, detailed management work, methods to optimize collection structure and raising collection quality; at the same time, it puts forward new thoughts about collection development in the digital environment. |
