1.should和ought to意为"应该",都可以用于提建议,语气较委婉,两者通常可互换使用.如:You should/ought to follow Mr.Zhao's advice.(你应该接受赵老师的建议.)
2.had better意为"最好",在代词后常缩写为'd better,常用于给他人提建议.had better没有人称和数的变化,后面必须跟动词原形.其否定形式为had better not.如:
1)You'd better drink lots of boiled water.(你最好喝大量的开水.)
2)You had better not play computer games now.(现在你最好别玩电脑游戏.)
3.have to和must也可以用于提建议,语气较强烈.have to侧重强调客观条件下不得不、必须;must侧重强调主观上必须.如:
1)You have to get up at five,or you'll miss the early bus.(你得5点钟起床,否则就会错过早班车.)
2)Everyone must obey the traffic rules.(人人必须遵守交通规则.)
