台湾人口少子化背景下小型学校整并策略及启示

摘    要:台湾地区人口少子化背景下,学校生源锐减,乡村及偏远地区学校规模日益缩小,台湾教育当局和地方政府因地制宜、循序渐进、积极稳妥推进小型学校整并,在有效提高教育资源使用效益的同时确保学生就学权益及社区发展。借鉴台湾地区经验,大陆农村撤点并校应着眼学生就学需求,统筹规划,合理布局,完善配套,强化功能,促进农村教育与经济社会的协调发展。

Abstract:With the declining birthrate,the enrollment in primary and secondary schools in Taiwan decreases sharply,and the scale of rural and remote schools contracts gradually.Education authorities and local governments have to explore feasible approaches toward integrating small-scale schools in order to protect students’ schooling interest,promote the development of community and improve the efficiency of education resources use.The article,therefore,suggests that Taiwan’s experience be used in overall planning,rational distribution,facilities perfection,functions enhancement so as to promote rural education as well as coordinated economic and social development.
