| Abstract: | The ancient great militarist Sunzi had mentioned five kinds of qualities that the commanders must own in the Art of Wax. The five kinds of qualities include having enough wisdom, honesty and creditability, being kind, bravery and being strict. It is very necessary for teachers of foreign language teaching in universities to improve their own qualities with the reference of the thought about those qualities put forward by Sunzi. These five kinds of qualities are unified and closely related with each other. The author has respectively illustrated the enlightenment about Sunzi＇s thought concerning the qualities of commanders on the improvement of the morality, intelligence, mental quality teachers of foreign language teaching. |
