公共标语及广告的译名统一规范性研究

摘    要:本文基于双语化的背景,通过实例分析了造成当前公共标语及广告译名不规范现状的两大原因:一是劣质翻译导致错误译名泛滥;二是用法不同导致同一公共标语及广告有多个正确译名并存。建议通过制定译写标准、拆除取消错误译名、培养翻译实用文体的人才等可行途径,对公共标语及广告译名进行规范统一,优化双语环境。

Abstract:Based on examples of translated terms of public signs and advertisements,this paper presents two major reasons for the present nonstandard translations against the background of pursuing bilingualization.One is the flooding errors resulting from poor translation,and the other is the coexistence of correct versions due to different usage.Then,establishment of translation norms,removal of improper translated terms,and cultivation of translators for the practical-style texts are introduced as feasible methods to regulate the translation of public signs and advertisements so as to optimize the bilingual environment.
