| 摘 要： | 英语新课标体现了突出学生主体、注重素质教育的理念。它从学生的实际需求出发，确立教学的目标，在总体上特别重视语言的实际运用。根据新课标精神，教师在教学中应注重对学生的素质教育，培养学生的综合语言运用能力，改进评价方法，完善对学生的评价标准。

| Abstract: | The present paper is about contents and characteristics of New Curriculum.Changes from teaching reformation and problems under implementation are still under discussion. The aim is to show that teachers should carry forward human spirit, foster students ability to use language, stress practicality of language, lay stress on evaluation in the process of learning , and apply task-based way of teaching in their English teaching. |
