| 摘 要： | 生态伦理思想是关于自然与人伦理关系的思想。在生态伦理的视阈下,笔者重新审视麦尔维尔的长篇小说《白鲸》中亚哈的海上捕鲸和以实玛利的身心成长的内涵:一方面热衷于享受征服自然、捕杀鲸鱼的生命快感;另一方面又质疑工业文明的生态破坏性,向往回归自然。这两方面的矛盾构成了麦尔维尔在生态伦理问题上的思想冲突和内心困惑,也赋予了文本一种审美张力。

| Abstract: | The eco-ethics ideology is about the ethical relation between nature and human.In the view of eco-ethics,this paper re-examines the connotation of Ahab's hunting whale and Ishmael's growth in Melville's novel Moby Dick.On the one hand,the author craves to enjoying conquering the nature and killing the whales,on the other hand,he also questions the ecological destructiveness of industry civilization and yearns for returning to nature.This contradiction reflects Melville's conflict and perplexity on eco-ethics and endows the text with esthetic tension. |
