| 摘 要： | 作为后来者,湖南教育近代化的演进无法遵循教育内在的发展逻辑与连续性,而是表现为与社会政治,经济、文化的同步性.除了在整个国家教育近代化进程中的被动性、非计划性、局部性、新旧杂陈性和不平衡性等特点之外,由于特殊的地缘位置,以及特定的政治,经济,文化发展状况,湖南教育近代化进程体现出鲜明的地域性特征.
