| Abstract: | Mikhail Aleksandrovich Sholokhov was a noted Soviet writer reputed for his sophisticated depiction of the tragic conflict between the fate of individuals and social history.His famous novel Quietly Flows the Don vividly reflects the period of turbulent reforms from 1912 to 1922 for the Cossacks and reveals the theme of the eternity of human life.In this paper,the authors attempt to analyze the ideological undercurrent of the novel that remains intact in the academic circles.Harmony,indeed,is the eternity of human life. |
