| Abstract: | This paper makes the point that Tao Yuanming's pastoral poetry is more mature than that in "The book of songs", This can be seen from three aspects:1. from the Chinese classical poem with lines of four characters each to that with lines of five characters each; 2. from narrative pastoral poems to lyric pas-toral ones;3. from the general concept of an ideal pastoral life to the beautiful blueprint of art. |
