大众体育的社会学视野—发达国家大众体育印象及其启示

采用社会学研究方法，从发达国家大众体育的社会背景入手，全面分析了发达国家大众体育发展中自然和人口素质，经济发展，化渊源，时间结构（余暇时间），生活方式，城市化，体育设施，社会福利，宽松的教育9方面社会因素，认为：其优越的自然和人口因素是催生其发达大众体育的重要成因。在此基础上，归纳出发达国家的大众体育的特点：1)地域辽阔，地形多样，气候迥异，自然环境优越；2)体育设施星罗棋布；3)健身与旅游、休闲和娱乐紧密结合，服务质量很高；4)交通极为发达，人们去健身或娱乐的场所十分便利；5)社会自组织能力强；6)政府将大力提倡大众健身运动视为降低医疗开支的最有效手段。
