袁世凯教育改革思想述评

清末，中国近代教育思想处于新旧交替的变化之中，一些封疆大吏以“中学以体，西学为用”为宗旨，提倡向西方学习，重视教育与人才培养。袁世凯在清末大力推广新式学堂教育，力主废除科举制度，积极规划学堂管理，是清末教育改革中颇有影响的人物。

Review of Yuan Shikai''''s Ideology about Educational Reform

At the end of Qing dynasty when modern Chinese education ideologies were undergoing changes from the old to the new, some officials advocated learning from the west and attaching importance to education and personnel training. Yuan Shikai, an influential figure in education reform at the end of Qing dynasty, extensively spread new school education, firmly urged to abolish imperial examinations and actively made plans for the school management.
