| 摘 要： | 由于英汉两种语言及文化有着很大的差异,这就导致翻译独特性很强的汉语诗词显得尤为困难。文章探讨了补偿翻译技巧在汉诗英译中的作用。在汉语诗词英译过程中,汉诗中的韵式和节奏等方面信息的缺失甚至被歪曲,可以在形式和内容上加以补充翻译,这样既可以兼顾原文的表情达意,又可以最大限度再现原文的形式美。

| Abstract: | Compensation in translation is to make up for the semantic losses that occur in the course of converting the linguistic forms of the original language into those of the target.The difference between English and Chinese in language and culture makes it difficult to translate Chinese poetry into English.This paper focuses on how compensation technique is applied to solve this problem. |
