谈刘熙载的品格论

刘熙载的论词主张以品格论为核心。品格论可概括为 4个方面 :第一 ,“论词莫先于品” ;第二 ,词品“莫要于有关系” ;第三 ,词品本于人品 ;第四 ,苏、辛词品格最高。品格论密切了词和社会生活的关系 ,进一步把词推向了言志抒怀的轨道。它的局限性是 :否定柔情词时表现出来的封建礼教思想和轻视词的艺术特征的观念。

Liu Xizai's comment on ci regards the character theory as the kernel.The theory of character can be summarized into four points:First,put character ahead in the comment on ci; second ,being relative is the most important in the character of ci ; third , the character of ci is based on the character of the writer ; fourth ,ci of Su Shi and Xin Qiji are of best character. The comment on the theory of character builds closer relations between ci and social life , put ci into the orbit of expressing ambitions and emotions.Its limitations lie in:the feudal ethics thoughts expressed when they deny the tender ci and the underestimation of the artistic features of ci .
